About Carnelian

Called "the setting sun" by the Egyptians, Carnelian is a stone known to bolster feelings of strength, courage, and motivation.  A member of the Chalcedony family, a relative of Quartz, Carnelian is usually a very brilliant shade of orange or red-orange.  Carnelian is considered to be associated with the Zodiac sign of Aries.  Carnelian is also aligned with the Sacral chakra also known as the Svadishthana.
